Nestled at the foot of the Malvern Hills, approximately 35 minutes from Cheltenham, Eastnor Castle, Ledbury is a great day out for the whole family. There is so much to do, especially for children, you can easily spend a whole day there enjoying the grounds and castle.
Included in your Eastnor Castle entry fee, you can:
- Try the junior obstacle course.
- Find the centre of a hedge maze (escape map available here or on site at reception).
- Play on the adventure playground (including a super cool, tree top walkway and hillside slide).
- Take a walk round the lake.
- Play on the woodland play area (with adjacent stream).
- Tour the castle (self guided, but there are members of staff in hand to answer questions).
- Watch any shows or displays that may be available on the valley lawn.
- Eat your picnic on one of the many benches around the site.
For an extra cost, you can:
- Ride the miniature Landrovers.
- Enjoy refreshments and ice cream at the tea room.
Cost? We have Historic Houses membership this year, so our entry fee was covered by that, but you can check current prices here.
Parking? There is ample, free parking available across the road from the castle. Use Eastnor Castle postcode HR8 1RL to find the venue.
We highly recommend Eastnor Castle for a family day out on the edge of the Cotswolds. With stunning views and so much to do, there really is something for everyone.
