I’m just one of the very many air fryer converts out there. Since we bought our air fryer last December, I can count the number of times we’ve turned our regular oven on using my two hands… and it’s usually to cook pizza! The air fryer pasta dish I’m sharing today first came to my attention when it went viral on Tik Tok a couple of years ago and it’s been integrated into our meal plans ever since. While you can cook this dish using a conventional oven, by using the air fryer, you will be sitting down and tucking into your delicious air fryer pasta dish within 15 minutes!
The timings are based on using the Ninja AF400UK, a large air fryer with a 9.5L capacity, but should be similar even if you are using a different model.

You will need:
- 150g pasta of your choice (75g per person).
- Block of feta cheese (or Aldi/Lidl Greek cheese).
- Pack of cherry or plum tomatoes (whichever are on offer in Aldi).
- Garlic powder.
- Italian spices.
Optional extras:
- Chopped bacon (or use lardons).
- Chopped chicken breast.
Method for this air fryer pasta dish:
- Place the cheese in the bottom of your air fryer.
- Wash the tomatoes and tip them into the drawer too.
- Liberally sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning over the top.
- Add any optional extras.
- Air fry at 200°C for 14 mins, stopping occasionally to shake the drawer or stir. While the air fryer is going, cook your chosen pasta.
- When the air fryer has finished, add 3-4 ladles of pasta water to the mixture and stir. Add the pasta water 1 ladle at a time and stop when you achieve your desired consistency.
- Finally, drain the pasta, add it to the air fryer drawer, stir and serve.
With its versatility and ability to accommodate various dietary preferences, this air fryer pasta dish undoubtedly stands as a testament to the endless possibilities that this kitchen appliance brings to the table. This air fryer pasta dish is perfect to enjoy on its own, but why not add a slice or two of garlic bread on the side!
